This course is our Living on Live Food fundamental course that
will teach you the basics of the raw food diet through the teachings of the
Living on Live Food plan.
In addition to the business opportunities and joining the Alissa
Cohen Team, as well as the nutrition discussions, learn to
make delicious food with this 1 day intensive.
Recipes and skills covered (changeable due to
availability) - Learn Nut Milk Techniques, working with kale
and avocados, patés, wraps and sandwiches, pasta and 2 sauces, salad dressing
and delicious desserts; tortes and pies:
Morning (3 Hours):
Nut Milk Skills: Delicious Cinnamon Flavored Almond Milk
Salad: Kale Avocado Salad with Sun-dried
tomatos
Entree - Patés: Mock Salmon Paté and Guacamole
Sandwiches/Wraps: Collard Rolls, Cucumber Towers, Romaine Rolls, pepper

This course is designed to go beyond the basic food prep and into more
extensive raw food preparation. From this course you will be proficient in
preparing elegant gourmet meals. In addition to the food preparation, this
course will cover how to encourage and help people stay raw and will cover
issues dealing with daily raw food living such as environment, friends and
family, and traveling while raw. Here is a general outline and is subject to
change due to availability of produce.
Day 1 -Recipes and skills (changeable due to
availability) - Learn smoothies, dehydration, pasta,
salads, soups, cheese technique, sauces and dessert:
Morning (4 Hours) - Italian Cuisine and
Pasta Techniques:
Breakfast: Mudslide or Power Up Smoothie
Dehydrating Skills: Falafel (to be ready for dinner)
Entree-Pasta: Daikon or Butternut Squash or Zucchini Al Dente
Pasta, Spiroolied Beets or Yam, Zucchini Fettucine
Sauce: Basil Pesto, Fettucine Alfredo Sauce
Salad: Delicious Caesar Salad
